Amy's Moly Is Moving On

Hello all! Haven't fallen off the face of the Earth, I've just been occupied with a job change. Busy, nervous times to be going through one of those.

Anyway, finally getting down to working on Amy's "Red" Moly was a wonderful distraction. Hope you like the results, Amy.

It was really handy doing the things twice. I did the pencil first in mine, then Amy's. Then the pen in mine, thought it was too heavy, so I switched to a thin Pilot for Amy's. Worked out the kinks of the colors and shading on mine, and did it better on Amy's. You get the idea.

A close-up of the lighthouses. Mine is on top and far wonkier than Amy's.

I'll be shipping this one off to Jen tomorrow. Then I'll be digging into Yoda's witches Moly—what a great time of year to be working on that theme! Maybe it'll get me in the holiday spirit.

Toodles!

Oooh, very nice contrast.

A moment of calm after my noisy start ;)

I was hoping you wouldn't mind the white space. :-D But lighthouses call for a surrounding emptiness. It's their function to mark the edge of the void after all.

Shaggy kind of looks like he could be standing on the sidewalk in front of the river in the "blend area". That was about as brave as I could be in messing with your awesome start...squeek.

very nice.....I like the impression it gives of the moly setting out on a journey to the edge of the world......what will happen to it next :-)

Oh no, Nan, I don't mind at all!

I am honestly not fussy about what people choose to put in my molys. You can completely ignore the previous entries or work with them, it doesn't matter at all to me.
The important thing is that people do art THEY enjoy doing and present the theme any way they wish.
